A 35-year-old member asked:

premature fetus, cause intestines not to be able to finish delveloping = malnutrition on adult?

Confusing question: Although a premature infant may not have the intestinal development of a normal newborn, it will progress after birth & have the same abilities over time normal newborns actually continue to improve their intestinal function up to approximately 1 year of age. Insults to the infant causing injury might cause malabsorbtion, but that is true for adults too.

Dr. Irwin Berkowitz
Specializes in Pediatrics
Yes: Usually after the first few weeks the pattern of stooling can change from after every feed to every two or three days, sometimes even longer. If the baby is urinating, gaining weight and is comfortable this is not a problem.

Does light bleeding in early pregnancy mean I am having a miscarriage?

Dr. David Fein
Specializes in Preventive Medicine
No: There are many benign causes for spotting or bleeding early in pregnancy, and 30% of all women with normal pregnancy outcomes will actually have bleeding in the first trimester. Of course it is important to contact your physician if you are having bleeding with your pregnancy, but it does not mean the pregnancy will end in miscarriage.

Extreme fatigue especially after bowel move and eating. No strength very irritable and feel angry..Unable to think clearly. .Mis speak words or canno

Doctor can evaluate: Extreme fatigue by itself is not normal and needs an evaluation. A primary care doctor can look for causes such as anemia, cancer, infections, hormonal imbalances, etc... Significant anemia (not enough blood) or thyroid hormone problems are two of the many possible causes. One can write down a list of symptoms, with a brief description of each, to take to the doctor.
