can accutane treat skin dryness?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Arlo Miller

No: 90% of patients on Accutane develop dry skin and it is a side effect that we have to help patients deal with during their course of treatment. Bottom line is Accutane will almost certainly make your dryness worse.
