how long does it take to heal a chunk of skin missing?

1 doctor answer
Dr. John Munshower
30 years experience Family Medicine
Depends: Depending on the size of the chunk of skin and where the skin was missing from (certain parts of the body are more vascular than others and heal quicker) will decide the exact time frame. Some large "chunks" may even need skin grafting.
