Tylenol, (acetaminophen) Motrin: It is perfectly ok to use acetomenophen (tylenol) or Ibuprofen (advil, motrin) short term while on blood pressure medications. Problems only if long term use of these meds, so if needs a fe wdoses for an acute illness or pain, ok to use them for a few days. Also, make sure he is gettng plenty of fluids during his illness, or blood pressure meds could get him dizzy!
