Almost impossible: If you have bed bugs in your matress you should get rid of it. The bugs are so small and so resistant to pesitcides you are unlikley to be able to get them out of your matress.

Can you replace the: Mattress? Agree w earlier answer. If the bed bugs are in your mattress - they are likely all over the surrounding area too. If you can't afford a new mattress then place mattress in a specialized mattress container. Declutter entire bedroom & any other effected rooms. Check this site for instructions: http://treatmentforbedbugs.Com/ place all junk in tightly sealed plastic & dispose of it.

Wash clothing, linens, towels in hot water. Dry on highest heat - then repeat. Place clean items in a sealed bag to prevent re-infestation.Steam clean what you can't place in drier. Vacuum EVERYTHING using a disposable bag. Seal bag & dispose of bag. Next, use a STEAM cleaner everywhere (every crack & crevice). Use a non-toxic spray after cleaning or consider using fossil shell dust. You may need to repeat this process more than once. Now with this said- this is a tough job – you might want to consider using an exterminator that specializes in bed bug removal.
