Pinched nerve : You could have a pinched nerve in your neck. I would get it checked out.

Consider having a cervical Xray to check for arthritis spur that can potentially cause pinched nerve. If the pain is worsening with weakness and shrinkage of muscles of upper extremities, consider having an MRI.
