can you take thyroxine later in the day if you forgot to take it in the morning ?

Yes: Thyroxine is best absorbed into the body if it is taken on an empty stomach with no other medications or supplements, and you wait at least 40 min to eat. The alternative is to take it at least 2 hrs after you have eaten, and again wait 40 minutes before eating. You are always better off taking the thyroxine later in the day if you forgot to take it in the morning rather than skipping the dose.
