A 33-year-old male asked:

can cortical visual impairment be corrected through lasik or laser surgury for infants?

Unlikely to matter: When using the "cortical" in visual defect the origin of the problem is in the brain receptor at the back of the brain. If you think of a camera sending a signal to a monitor, nothing you do to the camera will change the fact that the monitor is broken. Lasik or laser eye surgery is an effort to improve the bodies cameras.
