Borderline: The newest guidelines recommend that the average adult younger than 60 should have a blood pressure of less than 140/90. If the person is older than 60, then it should be less than 150/90. Regardless of age, if the patient has diabetes or chronic kidney disease, their blood pressure should be less than 140/90. Continue to monitor her values and diet.
