apparent colon blockage for the last 2 1/2 weeks. er tried an enama & laxative last friday, didn't work. what now?

Is there REAL block?: The key word is "apparent." the colon may not be squeezing normally, from: nearby inflammation, virus infection, poor nervous system communication from/to brain/gut, diabetes, low thyroid, lack of water and fiber, low roughage diet, lack of exercise ... Etc. True blockages come from scarring, tumors, cancers, pressure from outside the colon, kinking. Colonoscopy by a good dr. Needed. Good luck.
