Isolated?: If this is isolated to the upper back and no radiation into the arm or arms, then most likely a myofascial pain issue. There are several small nerves that run through the layers of muscles in this area. Restriction in the fascia can cause these nerves to get pinched that can cause the burning sensations. Have someone look to make sure there is no rash in the area for shingles.

Possibly: If the pain is generalized and there are areas of soft tissue tenderness, then it is likely fibromyalgia. Localized pain just to the neck and shoulder areas is unlikely to be fibromyalgia.

Ulcer or gastritis: Probablybfrom your ibuprofen. Stop it and take a few days of otc proton pump inhibitor to see if this helps or not. If not, see your doctor.

Dysuria in male: Seek medical attention within 24 hours. Could be UTI ( urinary tract infection), kidney infection or stones or urethritis/prostatitis. Seek medical attention at doctor/urgent care /ER as may need antibiotics and could be serious if it is infection and is not treated.

Upper back burning: Could be reflux or H pylori infection ( ask for breathe test for acute infection) gallbladder, musculoskeletal or thyroid causing reflux, less common liver /pancreas /vascular issues. Avoid alcohol, smoking spicy foods, soda, caffeine. Consider trial of OTC prevecid. Check for pregnancy and f/u with doctor /urgent care.
