Oral antifungals: If indeed you have a fungal nail infection then the best treatment is to take oral medications. Usually finger nails are treated for a month and toe nails are treated for 12 weeks. On ocassion, a re-treatment or longer treatment may be needed. Remember, it take a year for a toe nail to grow it's entire length and you will not see any immediate action. Be patient. Follw with your doctor.

Try orals first: Try oral medication first as dr. Profitt siad. If that doesn't work, look into laser treatment.
