A 44-year-old member asked:

what could these symptoms be related too; small patch little blister that reoccur maybe 2, 3 times a year on same spot?

Depends on location: Most bliters on feet or heel can be from tight shoes.Burns are second commonest cause of blisters. Contact dermatitis can cause blisters which can recur and can be in on same spot and heat exposure is another cause by sun burn.

What is a milk blister?

Blocked nipple pore: This occurs when skin grows over a milk pore, blocking the milk from being released. It is often clear and you can see fluid (milk) inside. To treat gently wash with warm water and open blister with sterile needle. Then use Bacitracin on the area to help prevent infection. Use creams on your nipple to prevent recurrence.

What is the best way to care for a popped blister?

TLC: Antibiotic ointment and a protective non-stick bandage (changed once or twice a day) for starters. Avoid any friction or rubbing on the area. If the area looks infected - weeping or draining fluid, or increasing tenderness, redness, or swelling, or other concerning symptoms - would be best to get an evaluation. Protect it from sun exposure.

Are mci and early dementiathe same?

No.: Mci involves impairment in one area of brain functioning more than one would expect for your age and previous level of functioning. The impairment can be in memory, judgement, ability to reason or language. Some people who have mci will later develop dementia so it is thought of as a predementia state. Not everyone with mci will develop dementia.

I just went running and got a huge blister. Should I leave it or put something on it or what?

Either is fine: You can unroof the blister, or you can allow the skin to slough off on its own. The most important thing is to consider your shoe wear, your socks, and your running technique. If you are getting blisters, something is amiss with one or more of the above. Make sure that you have a good pair of running shoes and socks that are appropriate for your gait. I am a runner, and asics are my favorites.
