No: You should talk with your doctor about his lack of speech and texture issues. He may need speech therapy and may have other developmental delays that need to be addressed.

Yes: The same ones that can conceive a girl. The swimmers decide the sex & the first one in makes the pick. They don't care how they get there they just go for the prize. You have a 50/50 chance with each conception. All the myths out there about special timing/foods/position to get one sex or the other are bunk.

Some basics: Introducing solids gives you a chance to teach a different form of textures/feeding & slowly transition baby to table foods. Simple low allergenic foods like rice cereal are good starters. A diary(calendar) of each allows you to keep track of any reactions (usually within 3 days). From bland cereals to vegies to fruits, one new item a week, will give you a broad basis for future eating.
