Anytime: A keloid can be injected anytime. Depending on the size of the keloid it may be better to have it surgically removed.

Keloids: Keloids do not require injection. If your keloid is not aesthetically pleasing, you will need to have it excised. Some physicians inject steroids into the new scar. But no definitive benefit has been shown. Blacks and asians are prone to keloids. Consult a plastic surgeon.
