why do i need to deficate more during ovulation and menses?

Well, that's : A tough one. It's likely due to the overall cramping that occurs during those times and the prostaglandins involved with the uterine contraction. Could be other things but that's my guess. Do you have alternating constipation and diarrhea? It could be ibs ( irritible bowel) that gets worse with anxiety around the period. Gd luc.

If you didn't get your menses does it mean that you ovulated the previous month?

Depends : If you did a pregnancy test and the test is negative, that actually means that you either did not ovulate or ovulated late. If you ovulate and don't get pregnant, then you should get your period about 14 days after ovulations.

Rare: Unless there is scar tissue in the uterus or some kind of blockage, or you have a cyst, it would be unlikely for you to ovulate and not get a period.
