Unstable asthma?: Exhalation is involved with yawning. Unstable asthmatics could experience an increase in asthma after strong exhalations. If your asthma appears stable before the yawn then i recommend a peak flow meter to check your lung function after the yawn to see if there truly is a dip in your lung function or if you are incorrectly reading your body's signals.
