Decreases fertility: Testosterone can decrease fertility by telling the brain to no longer produce testosterone. The testicles will shrink (atrophy) when replacement testosterone. There are only a few number of conditions which require treatment for low testosterone. Your doctor will ask you specific questions like medications (especially opiates), history of brain tumors, history of testicular disorders.
