ever since i was diagnosed with lupus just 7 months ago i have gotten pneumonia 6 times, is this normal for people with lupus?

It is not typical : Anyone who gets pneumonia so often in such a short period of time should be checked by their dr. I would not panic, but would do so as soon as possible. There are many different " underlying reasons" for such recurrent infections. Simple specific blood screening tests can be done.

Not unusual: Lupus is an autoimmune condition and causes immune dyregulation. Please see a reputable rheumatologist or immunologist. I would suggest vaccinations if they are not contraindicated in your case.
