Chest wall: If pain is aggravated during the moment of breathing deeply, and is not so bad during a breathing pause, it is either coming from your chest wall (ribs, muscles, pleural lining of lungs) or the airways in the lungs themselves (usually happens when breathing cold air). But if pain is constant throughout the breathing cycle and is aggravated by exercise, it could be heart-related.
