Yes: Swelling is very common in pregnancy, but if you are pregnant and have high blood pressure or sudden onset of significant swelling it can be a sign of pre-eclamsia. If you have other symptoms including headache, vision changes and abdominal pain let your doctor know, they will check your blood pressure and do a urine test. If one leg is swollen and not the other you should also let your doc know.
