I have sharp pains shooting from left wrist through my thumb, pinky, and ring finger, and pain shooting up to my elbow. No numbness or tingling.

It : It is hard to fully understand your description of symptoms such as these without further information regarding the diagnosis given thus far but there are several nerve related problems that can turn on or turn up the signal in nerves giving pain and discomfort. Tendinitis, fracture injury, ligament injury it sounds like you should get evaluated.
