Pro:you help others: Con: problems from the surgery which include; wound infection, hernia, bleeding, blood clots, problems with anesthesia, damage to other organs, infection and very rarely death has occurred in living organ donors. Also you have a potential to have problems with your remaining liver or kidney that might require surgery or even transplant.
