Germ not sensitive : Not all germs respond to the same medicine. Viruses don't respond to any antibiotic. Bacteria respond to antibiotics, but all antibiotics do not kill all bacteria. Doctors do cultures to specifically identify the bacteria, and sensitivities tell us if that particular bacteria will be sensitive (die) or be resistant (infx persists). She needs a different drug/something else is going on. See dr.

Wrong meds?: The elderly have a higher incidence of being infected with an antibiotic-resistant bacteria, especially in a nursing home setting.
