Yes if normal health: 1. Start reasonably and increase your distance by no more than 10% per week
2. If you are having worrisome signs e.g. Chest pain or shortness of breath, then hold off and see your doctor prior to starting up again
3. Your best friend will be good running shoes
4. If you are noticing persistent joint pains then back down and consider seeing your doctor.
