OCD: This is an anxiety do, with intrusive thoughts that cause apprehension/fear/worry, and repetitive behaviors aimed at reducing the anxiety. Examples are excess washing, cleaning, checking, hoarding, & other rituals. These are time-consuming & cause severe emotional/financial distress.

Observe: Ocd has symptoms which range from mild to completely incapacitating. If you are experiencing anxiety and behaviors which are distressing and starting to interfere with your life then get an evaluation.

Get help: There is not a simple solution to overcoming ocd. Find a therapist who specializes in ocd and start working on overcoming the symptoms. You may want to consult with a psychiatrist about medication if the ocd is severe. Behavioral techniques can be helpful in combination with insight oriented work. Good luck, but it will take time, don't be discouraged.
