Where? : Where is the yeast infection? Antifungals would be best however. Otherwise please specify location.

Common & stubborn: I'm guessing that you are referring to a yeast diaper rash, but i could be wrong. Most diaper rashes are yeast-related. The first thing i recommend is to use an ointment to "water-proof" the area. Examples are a&d ointment, zinc oxide, etc. - all for external use. Sometimes I have parents alternate an over-the-counter yeast ointment with a light cortisone. But ask your doctor first on this one.

Yeast Infection: Doctors can prescribe anti-fungal cream for a baby's skin. For a breastfeeding baby, both the mother and baby need treatment. There is also oral Nystatin to treat yeast infections. Probiotics can also be helpful.

OTC AZOLE cream: Otc creams are effective, safe, and cheap. Get the generic Clotrimazole or miconazole.
