Less of them: At the end of the day you have to eat less, and balancing calories through the course of the day will help. Journal what you eat. Most people eat 33% more cal than they think they do.

Moderation: Eat a variety of foods in moderation, protein, complex carbs, fruits and vegetables. In general vegetables are lowest in calories and high in nutrients and fiber. They are the ideal food to bulk up on if you are trying to lose weight. You can try to have half your plate as fresh vegetables. Good Health to you

Weight loss foods: There really are no foods that help with weight loss significantly enough. The real way to lose weight is calorie counting. But if you are adverse to calorie counting eating a diet of mostly fruits and veggies with relatively smaller amounts of animal protein, nuts, seeds, beans, grains and potatoes and dairy, would probably work, because fruits and veggies are typically lower calorie.

Low calorie foods: Helpful weight loss foods are natural foods that take time to chew but contain few calories. Examples include carrots, celery, and leafy lettuce (without salad dressing). When shopping for fruits, buy small ones no bigger than a tennis ball, because fruits contain natural sugar. Drinks without calories include water and green tea. If one craves candy, he can chew sugarless gum.

What foods help with weight loss? And what exercises help if you want to lose only 20 to 30 pounds?

Cardio Mix: First off, not everyone has 20-30 lbs of adipose (fat) to lose, but if you do then consider an increase in cardio and a balanced diet. However, do not always do the same exercise or you will increase your risks for stress injuries. Mix things up with running, biking, swimming, or circuit training. Ultimately you need to burn more than you consume.

Can you please tell me the healthiest foods to eat to help with weight loss?

Anything: You can eat anything, but make sure it's a healthy well-balanced diet with reduced caloric intake, 3 meals/day, no snacks. Avoid fatty and snack/junk food. Increase your physical activity and exercise daily. There are no magic foods, but you have to burn off 3500 calories that you don't ingest just to lose one pound. Check w/a good registered dietitian. Weight watchers provides good support.

Can you please guide me on foods that will help speed up my weight loss?

Less: There are no "magic" foods that speed up weight loss. Don't believe what you read on the internet or see on tv. The only way is to eat fewer calories than you burn off. It's 3500 calories to either gain or lose a pound. Talk with your dietitian.
