No: That's a foolish folk remedy basic on the subscientific notion that "water washes out poisons." this is 21st century and all acne is manageable. Benzoyl peroxide is the only otc remedy that works. I add topical Clindamycin plus a retinoic acid derivative if there are blackheads. A systemic antibiotic, or the oral contraceptive pill if a woman can take it, can clear, dermatologists have strong rx.
