Workup: Pregnancy can put a lot of biomechanical strain on the lower back. Usually these symptoms reverse with delivery. If symptoms persist see your primary care specialist or a pain medicine specialist. They should examine you and determine if imaging studies are warranted. Imaging studies can help in diagnosing disc problems or any other abnormalities that may be responsible for your pain.
