Meckel's: I assume you are asking about a meckel's diverticulum. Here is a great source for info: http://www.Lpch.Org/diseasehealthinfo/healthlibrary/digest/meckels.Html many children with meckel's have no symptoms associated with it. It can cause abdominal pain or bleeding in the intestine. There are special xray tests which can be done to diagnose it.

Ulcer: Ulcer forms from acid secretef by meckels. Either ot blood csn result in inflammation.

Ulcer: The ulcer is in the small intestine where the meckel's diverticulum is attached. In general, the bleeding is not life threatening. With remove of the meckel's with or without the adjoining intestine, the bleeding stops and never occurs again.
