Need more info: From what & how you describe it, it is likely a respiratory tract infection. This can be viral or bacterial (or fungal sometimes), and can be of the larger airways (bronchitis) or lower airways (pneumonia). You should seek medical evaluation if symptoms have been present for more than 2-3 days, or are worsening.
