Ischemic What?: Ischemia: insufficient blood flow, a clinical judgement. Atherosclerosis typically begins at ~age 7yrs & is human dominant behavior. Primary driver is LDL particle concentration (not cholesterol, a fat made in every one of our cells). Get an NMR particle test and go for abnormally healthy; normal = bad news. Second driver, sugar, get hba1c, optimal is ≤5.0%. Next keep systolic BP <120mmhg, etc.
