Depends: In your ear or external ear? If from trauma or ear lobe cyst or infection, icing would help, but treating the source of the problem is the best and quickest route to recovery. If internal ear, think of viral or bacterial pathogen: your md can best diagnose these and appropriately treat. Good luck!
