If i am not feeling any pain in my body why would i need to go to a doctor?

As above : If u r 65 u need to see u doctor at least every 6 months to one year. When we get older we r at risk for many diseases and not all if them present with pain. So better safe than sorry.

Prophylaxis : There are many other signs of the disease except pain. Physicians are trained to diagnose medical problems at early stage. Even if you are absolutely healthy it is good idea to have physician who knows you and can help coordinate care in emergency or follow changes in your health over time. Vaccination schedule, colonoscopy, ECG , etc. Guidelines are best followed if you under physician care.
