i had a test result of trace of kidney disease i am a dibetic. what measures shall i take to prevent kidney disease. is it reversible?

Dm and ckd: Strict control of diabetes and BP along with control of protein in urine. Also control of secondary preventions like lipid control, low dose aspirin, smoking cessation.
