Sleep Medicine 29 years experience
3 days: We use a variety of medications to treat rls. In extreme cases we sometimes use pain medications (e.g. Percocet).
If you are currently taking percocet, the medication could be suppressing RLS symptoms. If you suddenly stop taking the medication, RLS symptoms will recur (possibly the same night) and continue nightly.
Please consult with a local sleep specialist.
