152 ain't bad!: Crohn's surgery may shorten your small bowel, important for nutrient absorption, thus explaining your inability to gain weight. Discuss your worries with your GI doc, they may be able to help; also, seeing a nutritionist to eat higher caloric foods may be helpful to gain weight, but may also be harmful, so only do it with medical guidance.
