Need more info: Assessment of depression involves a few different areas of functioning, and what you mention can be one of them. If you have other symptoms along with your slowed thinking, such as ongoing low mood, feelings of worthlessness, trouble feeling pleasure, weight loss, insomnia, thoughts of death, and fatigue you might have clinical levels of depression. Consult with your physician if this is the case.
