tsh 0.01, free t4, 1.34, tpo 113 . on 25 synthroid, (thyroxine) 5 cytomel. doc not happy with tsh. isn't tsh suppressed when taking t3? hashimoto's by biopsy.

Depends: Your TSH is suppressed. Consider finding a good integrative medicine doctor or an nd to help with the autoimmune process. They can suggest things to actually bring down the tpo level and help your body heal. For your best long term outcome, more needs to be done than just thyroid meds.

See below: Tsh, T4 labs difficult to interpret with Cytomel (liothyronine) therapy we don't recommend cytomel your on such low doses of both, we'd stop both drugs, check free T4 and TSH 6-8 weeks later to decide if thyroid therapy needed at all!
