Malignancy of tongue: A malignancy of the tongue is know as tongue cancer. There are several possible types of tongue cnacer based on the cells that they are derived from.

Cancer on tongue: Oral cancer is the main category. If it is on your tongue, you might hear it referred to as tongue cancer. Most often it is described as the type and then possibly the location. Ex: squamous cell cancer of the tongue, or floor of the mouth, etc. Hope you do not have this.
