Yes.: Depending on your age and number, size and location of fibroids, there are a variety of options to help slow down the bleeding, too complicated to review here. Most important thing is, based on your age, you may need an endometrial biopsy or a d+c to rule out potentially life-threatening casues for the bleeding prior to being placed on some type of hormone regimen to slow it down.
