Pleural pain: Sounds like pain related to the linings of the chest wall and outside lining of the lungs. Pleural pain could be infectious, inflammatory, post traumatic, due to autoimmune disease, to name a few. Start with a chest xray and then move to chest ct for further information. It could be a simple as a pneumothorax (leak in lung).
