Not enough evidence.: There is not a lot of data or good studies to say that it is "safe" to take during pregnancy and breastfeeding. On the other hand, there is not any data that it is harmful either. You and your physician need to weigh the benefits of the therapy and the lack of other alternative therapies known to be safe for pregnancy. If you aren't healthy without it, then neither is your pregnancy...
