i have had a high white bloodcell count for several months. any ideas? they have checked for infections and cancer what else could this be.

Many causes: High white cell count can be from following causes infections reaction to certain drugs diseases of bone marrow an immune system problem that increses white blood count i f your doctor says that all other tests came back normal, you just monitor your count and follow your doctors advice.
