A : A new hearing test would not be unheard of. Central auditory processing disorder is rare, but becoming more common as we learn more about it. For diagnosis, you will have to bring him to a doctor and audiologist that have knowledge in it, know how to definitively diagnose it, and then treat it. It may be beneficial to take your son to cincinnati children's hospital.
