You : You have lost a lot of weight in a short period of time. Remember it took you quite a while to get this heavy. A weight loss of 2 pounds a week is excellent and you have lost over 3 pounds a week.
So you are doing very well. It is important that you get adequate protein during your weight loss efforts. That helps keep muscle.
Although it has been said that if you take in 3500 calories less than you burn up each week you will lose one pound, there is a lot of individual variability with this rough estimate. You may wish to use online calorie/activity/weight tracking sites like those in the middle of the webpage link shown below. These can be used at no cost.
