Hello. : Hello. I commend you for looking into a variety of options for your bulging lumbar disc. However, i know of no nutrional based treatment that would cure a bulging disc. Heat may help to relax the surrounding muscles and to add in removal of pain chemicals but it won't cure the disc. Medical acupuncture can help remarkably with pain, spasm and decreased range of motion but it won't fix the disc. If you are overweight, getting to a more normal weight would help take un-needed pressure off your back. You can also ask your doctor about doing a consultation for physical therapy. Take care.
