Why in america are we losing people every 2.5 minutes to a bactrial infection called sepsis? my 25 years young niece in corpus christi tx has been in the hospital still in the icu going on one month already! lungs colasped, kindey failure, fast heatbeat

Wrong: "Sepsis" is not a bacterial infection. It is a malignant pathophysiological cascade of responses to certain types of bacterial infections. People have been dying of sepsis as long as there have been people. "Healthy" people are getting it a lot because everyone is healthier now & haven't been killed off in childhood by once-common diseases.
