Yes: There are a number of reasons for a miscarriage. Most, however, are a random event and a single miscarriage does not predict future problems. The fact a patient has a miscarriage at least indicates the ability to get pregnant. Repeat miscarriages should be evaluated. There may not be a solution or the solution may be easier than one thinks.

Yes: You should still be able to conceive once you resume your normal cycles.

No: If you are truly pregnant and in the process of shedding the pregnancy tissue you cannot conceive. Once the tissue is gone, then the ovaries can resume ovulating and pregnancy will be possible.
Dr. Jane Van Dis

No: It's unclear what you mean by miscarriage. If you already have a hormone level from a miscarriage it's unlikely that your body is going to be able to ovulate. If that miscarriage is still inside the uterus then that is not a hospitable environment for a new implantation to occur. Typically it's going to take 2 to 6 weeks for your body to ovulate again and get pregnant again.

Soon: Once you feel ready, you can start trying. Make sure your preconception status is optimized. Take prenatal vitamins with folic acid and DHA, do not smoke, drink alcohol, or use any other recreational drugs. Any medical disorders such as diabetes, hypertension, should be well controlled, hopefully your body weight is also in the optimum range, engage in regular physical activity. Best Wishes!

Once you have had a miscarriage how long does it take to get pregnant again?

Variable: It can be soon or may be longer. It matter with many things such as frequency as intercourse or what ones plans are. If you are speaking biologically as soon as your next intercourse theoretically if time correctly. I might suggest to wait however if you are considering this as one needs to sort out the emotional issues. Best wishes
